There's pitched battles around every corner and at every fort. Populated Civil War = you'll definitely notice this one. There might be a bug where two trolls are wandering the roads together marked as hostile but who never attack. Immersive Patrols = have it, like it, adds a lot. Realistic Conversations = didn't notice a difference with this one, either, but it's subtle

Or even if you just don't want to show up at Whiterun at 7pm and have to run full tilt to make it to Eorlund before he leaves the Skyforge. If you want more time to be out during either period (I wanted longer nights), it's super helpful. The primary reason I always use it now is because it slows down the days and nights. Improved Skyrim = Nothing drastic, but I like the subtle changes this one makes.Ĭhrismods with Dawnguard = This is just some mod some guy made for himself which I randomly came across searching for something else. They'll take your money, they just won't go. But there is one bug where, after a relatively short amount of time, the carriage drivers no longer take you to the main holds. Immersive Citizens: AI Overhaul = On the plus side, this adds great moments like Uthgerd talking about encountering Cicero. I haven't tried this version, so I don't know what it may have changed. It added a bunch of interesting NPCs to cities as well as new and challenging bandits, but occasionally it made random NPCs (both bandits and townspeople) not only essential, but untouchable.

Increased Population = I had an earlier version of this mod and I both loved and hated it.
